Director Gautham Ramachandran On Ashok Selvan’s Cameo In Ulidavaru Kandanthe Remake

Actor Ashok Selvan has been cast in a small role in Nivin Pauly’s upcoming Tamil film directed by Gautham Ramachandran. Talking to Silverscreen, Gautham said “There was this small yet significant role in the film, and we were thinking of asking somebody to do a cameo in the film. Ashok and I have been friends for many years now. I wanted him to be a part of my first project because we started our careers together. One day I just rang him up and asked if he would do a cameo in the film. He packed his bags and was on the sets a day later. He shot for the scene, stayed back with the team until the wrap up party. It was as sweet as that.”
