Popular TV actor Prem Sai makes his directorial debut in Tamil cinema with Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum. The film is also being simultaneously made in Telugu as Courier Boy Kalyan. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon produces the film under his banner Photon Kathas. Speaking to a weekly, Prem Sai profusely thanked Gautham Menon for encouraging debutants. “We are able to make the film in Tamil and Telugu, only because of Gautham Menon. He made us push the envelope,” said Prem Sai.
The director also revealed that the flick is a potpourri of romance, comedy and fantasy. Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum stars Jai and Yami Gautam of Vicky Donor fame. She was also seen in Radha Mohan’s Gouravam. Actors Santhanam and VTV Ganesh play vital roles. Singer Karthik, who debuted as a music director with Aravaan, composes music.
