Jiiva And Vijay Sethupathi Might Be Part Of Vada Chennai

Actors Jiiva and Vijay Sethupathi might be part of director Vetri Maaran’s upcoming project Vada Chennai. While Jiiva was unavailable for a comment, a source close to the production team revealed that Jiiva has been signed to play an important characters in the film. Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi is yet to sign on the dotted line.

We had earlier reported that Vada Chennai is a two-part gangster story, which is expected to go on floors sometime in February. Actress Samantha will play a slum dweller in the film,  and will appear in a de-glamorized get-up. Actor Dhanush has allotted 200 days for Vada Chennai.

Vijay Sethupathi had shared screen space with Dhanush in Selvaraghavan’s Pudhupettai and later, played a hero in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which was funded by Dhanush’s production.
