Mahima Nambiar has been approached to play the female lead in Annanukku Jai. The actress was last seen in Mosakutty, and is in talks with producers to play the love interest of Attakathi Dinesh. A spokesperson for Mahima told us that while the actress has been approached to play female lead, ‘nothing is final’ as yet.
According to ToI, the film will be directed by Rajkumar, a former associate of director Vetrimaaran. Also as we’d reported earlier, this project will be jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran’s Grassroots Film Company.
