Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah Bhatia Team Up For New Film

Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah Bhatia will team up again for a new film. Only this time around, it won’t be for a sequel to Devi, as reports seem to suggest. Director Parthiban has brought the two actors together for a big-budget film.

Parthiban told Silverscreen that he was on the lookout for a production house to bankroll the project. “Other details have been ironed out. I have Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah already on-board. So that has set the ball rolling. Once we find a production house, we will launch the film,” he said.

The film is a revenge story with ‘commercial elements’, according to Parthiban. “It deals with a very personal story of revenge but is told within a commercial format. The movie will cater to any and every type of audience,” he added.

A spokesperson for Prabhu Deva confirmed the actor’s participation in the film and said:

“The actor is excited to be a part of a film directed by Parthiban. They share a good rapport after working in several projects together!”

The spokesperson added that if all goes well, filming could begin by the end of this year. “But it all depends on the producer of the project,” they added.

An official announcement regarding the cast and crew is awaited.

Parthiban’s last directorial was Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga. He also had an important role in the project.
