Ramesh Vinayagam, who hasn’t been composing often enough to our liking, makes soft music about latent attraction and expectant love. Chinmayi provides beautiful, almost soothing vocal support, as does Ramesh himself. Vaali’s lyrics are subtly suggestive.
Nala Damayanti, a 2003 comedy, was about a bumbling chef (Madhavan) who tries to fund his sister’s wedding by working abroad. Directed by Mouli and produced by Kamal Haasan, the movie also starred Geethu Mohandas, Shrutika and Anu Haasan.
