Jil Jung Juk Trailer & Review

The trailer of actor Siddharth’s Jil Jung Juk is out, and looks fresh and stylish. Directed by debutant Deeraj Vaidy, the film stars Siddharth as a ‘crazy crook’ named Jil. Actor Sananth Reddy is Jung, Jil’s partner, and Avinash Raghudevan is Juk. Radha Ravi plays a senior crook, Rolex Ravuthar.

The trailer opens with the line, “In an insane world”. What follows depicts precisely that. Jil has blue hair. The trio drive around in a neon pink car. The curiously lit and colorful trailer situates the movie in a 2020 utopia. The background music, composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar, is slick, and perfectly sets the mood. From the trailer, it appears that Siddharth and his partners have been assigned a high-profile job, which eventually lands them in trouble. “To finish up one big job in life neat, you have to do the 9 odd smaller jobs that come your way,” Siddharth says. The colour palette and production design of the movie are reminiscent of another Siddharth film –  Jigarthanda (2014).

The trailer was released by director SS Rajamouli lastThursday. “Happy to release the trailer of JIL JUNG JUK.”, tweeted the director.

Anirudh Ravichander, Radha Ravi, Santhosh Narayanan, Sean Roldan, Vishal Chandrashekhar, Anthony Daasan, Kavita Thomas and Andrea Jeremiah have all sung for the movie. Anirudh’s single ‘Shoot the Kuruvi‘, was was released in November by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The song has already gone viral on social media with more than 3 million views.

Produced by Siddharth under the banner Etaki Entertainment, Jil Jung Juk is scheduled to release on 12 February.
