Long synopsis – “Ponni (Keerthy Suresh), working as a constable, living with her five year old daughter Dhanna and her husband Mari, who is working as coolie in a rice mill, but with his involvement in the local politics, tensions rise with him and his higher cast employers, who rape his wife Ponni and brutally murder him and their and daughter by burning them alive in their hut house . A devastated Ponni along with her step brother Sangaiya (Selvaraghavan) take the case to the court for justice, but the court denies them justice, so both driven to rage they both take revenge on the people that wronged them.
