GV Prakash Kumar has revealed the reason behind acting in Darling. “I happened to meet Gnanavel Raja sir and played him some of my portions from Pencil. He was quite impressed and wanted me to star in the the Tamil and Kannada remake of the hit Telugu film Prema Katha Chitram,” said GV Prakash in a recent interview.

He is also very pleased with the final product and declared that the team has achieved what they set out to do. “We have delivered top-notch technical and narrative aspects. Offering a final product with perfect class was our motto and now we’re happy to see it achieved.”
Darling is a supernatural thriller with Nikki Galrani as the female lead. Bala Saravanan, Karunas and Rajendran essay pivotal roles while GV Prakash has also composed music. The film’s spooky teaser was released recently and has garnered positive reviews from the viewers. The film is directed by debutant Sam Anton and is currently in post-production.
