Her interest in screenplays can be traced back to watching Malgudi Days and Tenali Rama after returning from school. Srishti Lakhotia is Trainee Correspondent at Silverscreen.in. She has a postgraduate degree in Journalism from Asian College of Journalism. She fell in love with cinema while reading the lived history of a century’s worth of Tamil films penned by the esteemable Theodore Baskaran. Fascinated by cinema as an art and how she was interpreting it. A movie is the love child of the hundreds of people comprising its crew. How does the director’s interpretation of a shot different from the cinematographer’s? Do they have a common ground? But more importantly, how does the audience? At the end of the day, it is their opinion that matters. She is here to try and find the answers to these questions as well as a lot of yours. Hopefully, we’ll have fun while we’re at it!
