Pawan Kalyan Returns as a Cop in Saagar Chandra’s Untitled Next

Telugu actor and politician Pawan Kalyan’s next film was announced on Sunday. The filmmakers released the motion poster announcing the same.

The project, which is yet to be titled, will be directed by Saagar K Chandra who also made Appatlo OkadundevaduPawan Kalyan is expected to play a cop in the upcoming film. The filmmakers posted, “favourite cop of Telugu cinema is back in a high voltage role.”

Bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments, the film’s music is scored by SS Thaman, and Prasad Murella is roped in to be the cinematographer. While editing will be handled by Navin Nooli, Prasad Murella will be the art director of the film.

Meanwhile, the actor is also part of the Hindi film Pink remake, which is titled Vakeel Saab. He will be reprising the role of Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Sriram Venu, the shooting resumed recently after it was stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The film was supposed to hit the theatres in summer, this year. It is reported that the makers want to wrap up the project in a few months. However, the release date is not finalised yet. According to reports, the film may see a theatrical release next year. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Prakash Raj will play pivotal roles in Vakeel Saab.

The actor also has Krish Jagarlamudi‘s yet-to-be-titled project, whose first look was released on Kalyan’s 49th birthday. Produced by AM Ratnam, the music is composed by MM Keeravani, while the cinematography is by Gnana Shekar VS. The stunt is choreographed by Ram-Laxman, and dialogues have been penned by Sai Madhav Burra.
