The film was supposed to release on August 15, but was delayed till Dussehra due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Recently, the film’s shooting was stalled in Mumbai due to Cyclone Tauktae. Certain portions were shot across Lucknow, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

According to The Times of India, there were around 40 people on set the day the cyclone made its landfall. While there were no injuries or casualties, the set could not be saved even after repeated efforts by the guards.
