Actress Trisha Krishnan has denied reports that she is engaged to industrialist turned movie producer Varun Manian. Manian, a real estate businessman, is the producer of Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and the upcoming Kaaviya Thalaivan.
The Deccan Chronicle reported earlier today that Trisha and Varun Manian were now “informally engaged,” and a picture of Trisha flaunting a new ring was posted by a friend of hers on Instagram by one of her friends. An earlier picture of Trisha and Varun Manian was also retweeted repeatedly.

However, Trisha put an end to the speculation with this tweet.

When contacted by Silverscreen, sources close to Varun Manian indicated that the couple will likely get engaged next month.
