For the first time, both the lead actresses in Lingaa, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha, will be shooting together. Anushka flew in from the sets of Ajith55 in Malaysia last week, to join the Lingaa team. Now, we hear that actress Sonakshi Sinha has also joined the team in the Ramoji Film City set in Hyderabad. Both actresses play the love interests of Rajinikanth, albeit in different time periods. Sonakshi is the 1940’s girlfriend of Rajini while Anushka plays the current day love interest. The team is on a forty day schedule and sources tell us that around seventy percent of the film has been completed.
The makers of Lingaa are aiming at releasing the film on December 12 this year – that’s on the superstar’s birthday.
