As we had reported earlier, Vishal and Lingusamy will team up again to make a sequel to Sandakozhi. In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, Vishal finally confirmed that he would produce the sequel – to be directed by Lingusamy, who made the first part. Meera Jasmine and Raj Kiran, who appeared in Sandakozhi, will also be seen reprising their roles.
However, Shruti Haasan might be approached to play the female lead.
Vishal is now currently working for Sundar C’s Aambala, which is slated to release around Pongal.
