Mani Ratnam’s next project, tentatively titled Ok Kanmani, has been wrapped up and is currently in post-production. Starring Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen, the romantic film went on floors in October 2014. Nithya plays an architecture student in the movie, and the team flew to Ahmedabad to shoot certain scenes in the IIM campus. The film’s cinematographer – PC Sreeram – recently revealed that the movie has a romantic plot at the core and is along the lines of Alaipayuthey. Actress Kanika and Prakash Raj are some of the stars in this film, which was completed in less than three months.
Mostly shot in Chennai and Mumbai, the movie has been made on a low budget and is said to be readying for an April 2015 release.
