Actress Priya Anand has joined the Celebrity Cricket League as the brand ambassador for the Chennai Rhinos team. The actress has replaced Trisha, who was the brand ambassador last year.
The fifth edition of Celebrity Cricket League started in Mumbai on January 10. Modeled after the IPL, the CCL is contested by 8 teams representing the major Indian film industries.
The Chennai Rhinos team is now being led by Jiiva, as the regular captain Vishal couldn’t play owing to his film commitments. Chennai won the first two editions of the league – in 2011 and 2012.
In addition to Jiiva, the Rhinos team consists of actors Vishnu Vishal (vice-captain), Vikranth, Bharath, Arya, Shaam, and Ashok Selvan among others .
