Our best stories from last week. Plus awesome photos.
Music composer K, an avid collector, played all sorts of instruments for us and managed to find enough time to speak his mind on a wide range of topics from making experimental music to his disdain for all things ‘new age music’; Varun Dhawan’s muscles made it to our black and white hall of fame; Ashok Selvan told us of the movies he devours to this day; and the thirty three thoughts one could have while watching Vai Raja Vai was documented.
Uttama Villain may have run into trouble on May 1; but due in part to the efforts of Sarath Kumar and KE Gnanavel Raja, it successfully released the next day. All the outrage apart, the much awaited Kamal Haasan film was ‘puzzling’. Aishwarya Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai though, made no bones about the kind of film it was – unabashedly commercial.
Also, our HQ section was teeming with celebrities, from Ajith Kumar at his most dashing to Priya Anand, a Silverscreen favourite.
