Govinda and Dharmendra launched the trailer of the upcoming Hindi movie “Second Hand Husband”. The movie serves as the launch pad for Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja who is being paired with Punjabi pop star, Gippy Grewal.
With a name as colorful as ‘Second Hand Husband’…and Gippy Grewal, the trailer was bound to get some attention from us. Gippy plays, well, a Punjabi character, in the middle of a divorce from Geeta Basra, wanting to get married to Tina Ahuja. He has to fork out money to Basra to get her to sign off on the divorce, for which he plans to get her hooked to someone with deep pockets . Enter the rich playboy Dharmendra.
The trailer also features Gippy in his pop star avatar singing familiar Punjabi music, while Tina Ahuja dances with much trepidation, which is surprising considering her genes.
Second Hand Husband is directed by Sumeep Kang and is being planned for release on July 3, 2015.
