Actress Niveda Thomas has signed on as the female lead opposite actor Sharwanand in an untitled action movie to be directed by debutant Bhaskar. She has already started shooting for the film. According to sources close the the movie, the director was impressed with Niveda’s work in one of her Malayalam films and decided to cast her.
Sharwanand is simultaneously shooting for this project as well as the one with director M. Gandhi. Niveda plays Kamal Haasan’s daughter in Papanasam, which is the Tamil remake of Drishyam.
