Director Vijay Chandar’s Vaalu, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 17, still has a song that needs to be canned. Sources say that the shooting of the song featuring the lead cast STR and Hansika has begun today. It is said that this song will be shot over four days continuously on a set in Chennai.

The movie has been awarded a U certificate, and is all set for a grand release after a string of setbacks. After facing some financial trouble, STR’s father T Rajendar secured the rights of the movie and will be releasing it across the state.
Vaalu features STR and Hansika in the central roles. Actors Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Brahmanandam, Aadukalam Naren and Misha Ghoshal are part of the supporting cast. Produced by SS Chakravarthy’s Nic Arts, Vaalu has music composed by Thaman. The second trailer of the movie was released a couple of days back and received a positive response from the audience.
