Actress Amala Paul will be co-producing director Priyadarshan’s yet-untitled film, alongside father-in-law AL Alagappan, with Think Big Studios. This will mark Amala Paul’s maiden production venture. The actress says she had always dreamed of making movies that could appeal to a national and international audience, and Priyadarshan’s movie would do exactly that. The actress hadn’t signed any new movies since her acclaimed performance in Velai Illa Pattadhari last year, although she had appeared in several shows.
The untitled film marks the return of the National Award winning Kanchivaram team, comprising of Priyadarshan, Prakash Raj and Sriya Reddy. Shooting will commence in August. Cinematographer Santhosh Sivan and art director Sabu Cyril are on board the technical crew.
