Actress Amala Paul’s impending wedding with director Vijay had the rumour mills churning for a while now. Finally as a tweet from a PRO confirmed earlier on Monday, the actress will wed the ‘Saivam’ director on 12th of June in Chennai following an engagement ceremony to be held in Kochi on the 7th of June. The couple are expected to make the official announcement next Monday.

In a press statement issued earlier the actress had promised to reveal her ‘future plans’ with the director after his return from the US after the post-production work for his upcoming release ‘Saivam.’ With ‘Saivam’ all set for a release on May 1st, the couple seem to have locked on a convenient wedding date. The duo have been tight-lipped about their affair though, with Amala even denying dating anyone in her recent appearance in the show ‘Koffee with DD.’ The couple first worked together in the 2011 flick ‘Deivathirumagal’ and later teamed up again for the Vijay starrer ‘Thalaivaa’ in 2013.
