The climax is realistic and director should be appreciated for not resorting to any gimmick or cinematic liberties. But one could not help feeling that the film does not have a proper ending.

The romance portion between Arulnithi and Remya Nambeesan, a primary school teacher in the village comes like a breeze though it offers nothing new for those who wish to watch romance films.
The film depends predominantly on Singampuli and he does not disappoint in giving his brand of comedy. He also has scope for emotions in the second half and with that he proves he is not just a comedian. Arulnithi as a good minded policeman who seriously tries to restore the peace gives what is required for the character. Remya Nambeesan is refreshing while Bhagavathy Perumal and Rajkumar could have been used better to bring in more fun and laughter.
