Actor Vijay seems to have taken to playback singing quite seriously. The actor has crooned at least one song in all his films since Thuppaaki (2012), and all his songs have turned out to be chart-busters. Continuing the trend, Vijay has sung two songs in his upcoming flick with Atlee. This yet-untitled film, fondly referred to as Vijay59 by fans, has Samantha playing the female lead. The music is composed by GV Prakash.
Music Composer Deva has also sung a ‘local-gaana’ number in the film, in which Vijay is said to be playing a cop. Vijay59 is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, and is expected to be a Pongal 2016 release
