The first look of Vijay Sethupathi’s next film Sethupathi was released today. Directed by SU Arunkumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame, the film features Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a police officer for the first time. The plot showcases the bravery of an honest policeman, and is set to be an action film. Remya Nambeesan plays the female lead, and writer Vela Ramamoorthy also has an important role in the film.
The movie is at the final pre-production stage, and will start shooting by September. Produced by Shan Sutharsan of Vasan Movies, Sethupathi‘s technical crew comprises of cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan, music director Nivas K Prasanna, and editor Sreekar Prasad.
