Dhanush, for the first time in his career, will be doing a double role in his upcoming film with director Durai Senthilkumar. The actor will be playing the roles of two brothers in the film. The shoot will begin in the month of October, and actor Sathish, who was seen in the director’s previous films, will be a part of this one, too. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

Durai Senthilkumar’s previous ventures – Edhirneechal and Kaaki Sattai – were produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, and the actor shares a good rapport with the director. Dhanush, who is currently shooting for Prabhu Solomon’s untitled film, has a number of films in the pipeline. His VIP-2 with director Velraj is in the post-production phase while Vada Chennai with Vetri Maaran will commence in September. The actor will also be seen in Hindi director Anand L Rai’s next film.
