The Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Premam has been officially titled Majnu. Naga Chaitanya will reprise the role played by Nivin Pauly. The remake will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti, of Karthikeya fame. Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameswaran have also signed on the main cast. The filmmakers have reportedly approached Shruti Haasan as well. Produced by S Radha Krishna, the film is expected to go on floors later this year. Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for the Telugu action-drama Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo with Gautham Vasudev Menon.
