Raghava Lawrence, who acted and directed Kanchana 2, will play the role of an IPS officer in the Tamil remake of Pataas. The film will be directed by Sai Ramani, whose previous work includes Singam Puli.

Raghava Lawrence recently announced that he would be working on two other films, Motta Siva, Ketta Shiva and Naga. Both films will be directed by him.
