Actress Taapsee has been approached by producer CV Kumar for his debut directorial. Speaking to web portal iDream, Taapsee said she hadn’t yet signed for the role. After the success of Kanchana 2 and Vai Raja Vai, the actress was to begin work on director Selvaraghavan’s Kaan. However, due to financial issues, the project had to be shelved.
CV Kumar’s film will also star Sundeep Kishan. According to sources, the film will be made in Tamil, but is likely to have a Telugu release as well. Set to be a science fiction thriller, the film will be jointly produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and KE Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green. The film’s technical crew includes music director Ghibran, editor Leo John Paul, cinematographer Gopi Amarnath, and art director Gopi Chand.
