Actor and producer Dhanush has clarified that he does not have the Tamil remake rights of the Malayalam film Premam, directed by Alphonse Puthiran. Dhanush, who has recently had a successful run with both Maari and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan doing well at the box office, was rumoured to have become a part of the project along with Vijay Sethupathi. The reports surfaced after Dhanush announced that he would team up with Vijay Sethupathi again, after the success of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
