Music directors AR Rahman and Anirudh Ravichander will donate the proceeds of their forthcoming concerts to the Chennai flood victims. Anirudh Ravichander will be performing at Powerade Centre in Toronto on Saturday, and AR Rahman has two concerts lined up.

Rahman tweeted on Friday, that he will be donating the proceeds to Chennai flood rehabilitation. The concert, titled Nenje Ezhu, will be held in Chennai and Coimbatore on January 16 and January 23 respectively. This concert, presented by Noise and Grains Entertainment, is said to be a ‘pure Tamil concert’.

Meanwhile, composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will also go on a concert tour across Coimbatore (January 23) and Madurai on January 26. Coincidentally, AR Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s concert in Coimbatore falls on the same date.
