Oscar -winning sound technician Resul Pookutty has been roped in to work in director Shankar’s upcoming film 2.0, starring Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar.
Recently, Resul had a preliminary meeting with Shankar in Chennai. Later, the sound designer tweeted:

Resul Pookutty had worked in 2.0‘s sequel, Enthiran, which was a blockbuster in 2010. 2.0‘s technical team includes composer AR Rahman, VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan, cinematographer Nirav Shah and editor Antony. Tipped to be made in a budget of Rs 350 crores by Lyca Productions, 2.0 will see Shankar and writer Jeyamohan combination for the first time.
