Music director and actor Vijay Antony’s film Pitchaikkaran has been awarded a clean U certificate and will release on March 4.
The movie recently ran into controversy after doctors from marginalised communities protested against the film for hurting their sentiments. Vijay Antony subsequently made the necessary changes to the parts specified.
Director Sasi, of Poo fame, has directed Pitchaikkaran. The film stars Vijay Antony and Satna Titus, while Bagavathy Perumal and Muthuraman play supporting roles.
Vijay Antony’s next film Saithan is already under production. His film Yaman is also under production with Lyca Productions.
