Vishal Responds To Issues Regarding Ajith & Simbu

Last week, a report in the Times Of India had claimed that Vishal had stopped the DJ from playing Ajith’s song at the after party of ‘Natchathira Cricket’. Vishal had speedily refuted the allegations, calling the news baseless, and explaining that he had no reason to do such a thing. At a press meet today, he further said that the reporter in question had not bothered to confirm the news, and that the news was irrelevant. When asked about his opinion on Ajith missing the cricket match, he said, “I totally respect his decision. Nobody was forced to attend the event, so it was totally up to him to attend it or not.” He added, “People ask me why I do not address Ajith as ‘Sir’. I do not need to follow such formalities, as I have known him for quite a long time now.”

When asked about Simbu quitting the Nadigar Sangam, Vishal said that he respects Simbu’s decision. “The Nadigar Sangam is not a leisure club for a member to just want to withdraw his membership. But yes, I respect his decision. At the same time, as the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam, I wish he had stayed in the organisation,” said Vishal.
