After producing Udta Punjab and directing an upcoming biopic on serial killer Raman Raghav called Raman Raghav 2.0, Anurag Kashyap will direct a psychological-horror called Giddy, according to a PTI report.
Giddy is the first of three films to be produced as a combined venture between Kashyap’s Phantom Films and a US-based production house called Blumhouse Productions. The script is almost ready, Kashyap had told PTI.
The other two projects under this collaboration are Ghoul, a horror movie starring Radhika Apte in the lead, and a Hindi remake of Qaushiq ‘Q’ Mukherjee’s Bengali horror film Ludo (2015) which will be headed by Mukherjee himself.
Phantom Films had recently collaborated with Netflix to produce India’s first original series based on Vikram Chandra’s novel ‘Sacred Games’.

In the interview with PTI, Kashyap said that such collaborations are important for a production house like Phantom Films. “It’s good for our (Phantom’s) growth, we are also four different partners so somewhere this gives us freedom. The company is growing and anything that helps it in growing will give us more power to make the kind of stuff we want to,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap has neither confirmed the news on social media nor has he been available for a comment.
