Trisha’s upcoming film, Nayaki, is set to release on July 8. Directed by Goverdhan Reddy, the movie is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual horror-comedy film. This woman-centric movie has Ganesh Venkatraman in the lead role. Manobala, Kovai Sarala and Jayaprakash form a part of the supporting cast. The date for the Tamil release hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Set in the 1980s, the movie sees Trisha play the role of a 20-year-old-woman. In an interview with Indian Express, director Goverdhan Reddy said, “Trisha will be mostly seen in the 1980s look. The story will go back and forth in time. The film is 98 percent comedy and two percent horror”. The director will be making his Tamil directorial debut with this film.
