Radhika Prasidhha of Kuttram Kadithal fame will be seen again playing the role of a teacher in Kadugu, directed by Vijay Milton. The movie has actors Bharath, Rajakumaran, Bharat Seeni, and Subiksha playing the supporting roles.
Radhika’s role as a teacher in Kuttram Kadidhal had won her critical acclaim. She told Deccan Chronicle, “Since I was brought on board to essay the role of a teacher for the second time, director Vijay Milton was particular that it should not have any resemblance to my previous role. We are very conscious while working as well.”
Radhika told that the movie was about a relationship between a man and a woman. “The movie shows how a relationship doesn’t always have to be romantic, but can also be friendly. It’s a very relate-able movie”, she added.
Kuttram Kadidhal was in the receiving end of numerous accolades including the National award. It was also in the running for the 88th Oscar Academy Awards. However, it did not make the final cut.

Radhika Prasidhha, a theatre artist was roped in for the role of Merlin in Kuttram Kadithal after the producer of the film saw her in a webseries called Nyayiru Maalai. She was also nominated as one of the best actress for the National Award for this film.
Vijay Milton’s last movie was 10 Enradhukula. Although it had a big star cast including Vikram and Samantha, the movie was a resounding failure. According to sources, Kadugu is said to deal with social issues and will be in the likes of his successful movie, Goli Soda.
