Sarath Kumar’s Sandamarudham was flagged off with a pooja this morning at the Appar Swamy temple in Mylapore. As usual, it was a star-studded event; and Sundar C, director Vijay, Mysskin, RB Choudry, Manobala, Balaji Mohan and Keyaar were among those in attendance. Directed by A Venkatesh, the movie will feature Radhika Sarathkumar, her brother Radha Ravi, Kadhal Dhandapani and Samuthirakani in key roles. What’s interesting is that the screenplay of Sandamarudham is courtesy Rajesh Kumar, author of several crime and sci-fi novels in Tamil, while Sarath Kumar himself has penned the story. With music by James Vasanthan, the film is being produced by Listin Stephen and Radhika Sarathkumar under her home banner, Radaan Media and Magic Frames.
Sandamarudham is eyeing an August release.
