Trisha Krishnan launched NAC Jewellers’ Necklace Mela in Chennai this morning. A massive gold necklace, valued at Rs 36 Lakhs, was to be the centre of attention at the event. Weighing around 1 Kg, the ornate necklace looked like the sort of jewellery one would find on the sets of Baahubali.
When Trisha Krishnan, Brand Ambassador of NAC Jewellers, walked in though, all thoughts of necklaces – massive or otherwise, simply vanished.
Dressed in an elegant blue and pink Kavitha Gutta saree and antique Gold jewellery, Trisha looked every inch the Stylish Tamizhachi. As photographers jostled for her attention, Trisha obliged them all, that camera ready smile firmly in place.
After flagging off the mela, Trisha said, “I’m honoured to be here. NAC to me is family and I stand by that. It’s been a three and a half year journey now and many more years to come. There’s always something different and new to look forward to.”
NAC Jewellers’ Necklace Mela will display over 900 designs of necklaces from across India, starting at a price range of Rs. 18,000/-. Inspired by India’s cultural diversity, the mela will offer a variety of meticulously deigned, ornate necklaces.
From traditional Maanga Maalais to light weight Bombay designs, the mela comprises of masterpieces carefully designed with stones and enamels.
