Kee, starring actor Jiiva and Nikki Galrani, was officially launched on Thursday. The film, directed by debutante director Kaleesh, a former associate of director Selvaraghavan, is produced by Michael Rayappan of Global infotainment Media. Apart from lead stars, the film will have an ensemble cast thatincludes Anaika Soti, RJ Balaji, Govind Padmasoorya, Rajendra Prasad, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Manobala, and Meera Krishnan.
Govind Padmasoorya, a popular television anchor in Malayalam, will be playing the antagonist in this film.
Through Kee, Anaika Soti is making a comeback to Tamil cinema. She, who played a princess in Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014), will be seen playing the second female lead in Kee. Soti will also be seen playing the role of a sex worker in Atharvaa’s Semma Botha Aagatha.

Jiiva has Kavalai Vendam and Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae in pipeline, and last week, he had signed on Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu to be directed by JM Arun. Nikki Galrani, too is no less busy, juggling between almost 5 films- Ketta Shiva Motta Shiva, Kadavul Irukkan Kumaaru, a film with Aadhi and Vikram Prabhu each, and Kee.
Anish Tharun Kumar handles cinematography in Kee and Vishal Chandrasekhar of Jil Jung Juck fame, will compose music for the film. Nagooran is the editor and SS Moorthy handles the art direction.
