Director Mithran Jawahar has zeroed in on his next film. He, who has a history of re-making successful films from other languages, will adapt the Malayalam thriller – 100 Degree Celsius, for the Tamil audience next, according to a report in Deccan Chronicle.
The Malayalam original had five heroines in the lead roles – Actresses Shwetha Menon, Haritha, Meghna Raj, Bhama and Ananya. The film revolved around these women and an incident that threatens to destroy their lives.
Raai Laxmi has already been roped in for one of the lead roles, sources said. Talks are on with Trisha Krishnan to essay one of these leads. Reports indicate that Nivetha Pethuraj of Oru Naal Koothu fame is also in the running for one of the roles.

Mithran Jawahar debuted as director with the Dhanush – Nayanthara starrer Yaaradi Nee Mohini, the Tamil remake of Selvaraghavan’s Telugu language film, Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule. He followed this up with Kutty, Uthamaputhiran and the recent Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai. All of his five films thus far have been remakes. He is currently busy with Saamiatta, the re-make of Telugu film Swamy Ra Ra.

Meanwhile, Trisha Krishnan has signed on to be a part of Sathuranga Vettai – 2. She also has Mohini directed by Madhesh, that is ready for release.
