Siddharth Malhotra Confirms Being Part Of Aashiqui 3

Sidharth Malhotra is all set to be a part of the third film in the Aashiqui franchise. The actor confirmed that the movie has been offered to him.“Yes, I’ve been offered Aashiqui 3. It’s a germ of an idea right now, but it’s a gem of an idea. I’m yet to read the script, but the concept is appealing,” he said to the Deccan Chronicle.

Director Mohit Suri, who directed Aashiqui 2 is said to be writing a contemporary love story. However, the foundation of the film, like the first two parts, will be the music. Along with Siddharth, Alia Bhatt is also onboard the project, and she will play the role of a singer in the film.  The project is expected to take off in mid 2017.
