Mohanlal’s latest Malayalam release Pulimurugan is performing well at the box office and is set to go global as the film will be dubbed in Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi and English. This was disclosed by Mohanlal himself to a TV channel in Mumbai after a special screening of the film.
“This is perhaps the best action film of mine and this is going to be dubbed into Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi and English,” he said. Pulimurugan, made at a cost of Rs 25 crore, was released last week in close to 400 screens in the across the world. In five days since its release, it has crossed the Rs 20 crore mark. The film has been much appreciated for it’s technical finesse and stunt choreography.

The film is already in the process of a Telugu dubbed release, with actor Jagapathi Babu dubbing for Mohanalal.
Mohanlal has been having quite a great 2016, with his Telugu debut Manamantha and Janatha Garage becoming commercial success. Moreover, even a month after his Onam film Oppam‘s release, the film is still running to packed shows in a few centres in Kerala. The actor will next be seen in actor Prithviraj’s directorial debut ‘Lucifer‘. He is currently working in Vellimoonga director Jibu Jacob’s Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, with actress Meena.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal fans took to online trolling and threatening a woman from Thrissur for her Facebook post criticising Pulimurugan went viral. Nisha Menon Chembakassery while reviewing the movie wrote, “Shikar + Naran + spices… 5 gm each. Jeeps=10, Dialogues praising Murukan = sky is the limit. Goondas= 100.” The post since has gone viral and has garnered abusive comments and threats against her and her family from fans.
