Actor Jayam Ravi announced that his six-year-old son Aarav will make his acting debut in upcoming film “Tik Tik Tik”. Aarav will play the role of Ravi’s son in the film directed by Sakthi Soundar Rajan.

Speaking to Times of India, Ravi said that Aarav plays a substantial role and will be seen throughout the film. “It is very exciting, both for Aarav and me. He plays an important role and it is a full-length role at that — he is acting as my son in the film. I am very happy that he is entering the industry with my film. But now, I am worried more about his scenes than mine.” he said.
Ravi is not very worried about his son missing school. “We decided to shoot with him because he is currently on vacation. And anyhow, his school ends at 1 pm. He has started learning his lines and says he wants to be prepared for the shoot. He keeps coming and asking me to rehearse with him at home. This is going to be fun. Aarav loves films, and has watched all my movies. He, in fact, knows scenes and dialogues of some of my films by heart,” he said.

Actress Nivetha Pethuraj is the female lead in Tik Tik Tik, which is billed as India’s first space film. The thriller is expected to make use of special effects to tell a ‘unique story’. Producer Hitesh Jhabak will finance this ambitious project under the Nemichand Jhabak banner. D Imman will compose music for this film, in what is his third collaboration with Jayam Ravi.
