Writer Paulo Coelho, known for his award-winning philosophical books such as The Alchemist, recently lauded Bollywood actor’s Shah Rukh Khan’s performance in My Name Is Khan (2010) on the occasion of the film’s seventh anniversary. The writer confessed that he believed Khan deserves the Oscar for his performance in the Karan Johar-directed film and rued that if Hollywood wasn’t so ‘manipulated’, Khan would have had an Oscar by now.
