Dhanush has wrapped up his directorial debut Power Paandi. The film, reportedly about the life and times of a stunt man (played by Raj Kiran), is now on track to release on 14 April, the release date earlier announced by the team.

Starring Prasanna, Madonna Sebastien, Revathy, Divya Darshini and others, Power Paandi has music by Sean Roldan and is produced by Dhanush’s own Wunderbar Films. The music launch of the film is scheduled for 9 March.
Dhanush took time off from his other acting projects to make this directorial. Now that this project is in post-production, Dhanush will move on to the sequel of Velaiilla Pattadhari, VIP-2, followed by Vada Chennai with Vetrimaaran.
