Amala Paul’s Next Is An Adventure Film With No Male Hero

Amala Paul has signed an adventure film with a predominantly female cast. Directed by Vinodh K, the film has no male lead and is set in Chennai. Vinodh had earlier assisted Ramprakash Rayappa for Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum.

A spokesperson for Amala Paul told Silverscreen, “Amala has a confident, urban-girl role in the film. There’s no male lead, and so it’s all about women and women power.”

According to a Times of India report:

“It has an adventure-based script set against the city in which the actress will essay a different role. The movie will have a unique concept which hasn’t [been] attempted in Tamil cinema.”

An official announcement regarding the film is expected soon.

Amala Paul is currently filming for Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Velai Illa Pattathari – 2. After this, she will fly to New Zealand to film the climax portions of Thiruttu Payale 2.
