Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Babani have been granted divorce by a family court in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple decided to part ways after 15 years of marriage, in January 2016.

A report in Mid Day states Farhan’s lawyer, Fazaa Shroff-Garg, as telling the daily: “The divorce by mutual consent was allowed by the family court in Bandra.”
The custody of both their daughters will remain with the mother, while Farhan Akhtar has visitation rights.
The couple married in the year 2000.
