The movie 96, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha, will go on floors soon, reports the Deccan Chronicle. The shoot is expected to begin in Kumbakonam. The crew is currently looking for suitable actors to play the younger versions of Vijay and Trisha’s characters.
The first look of the movie was shared recently with posters reminiscent of the late ’90s, the period in which the movie is set. According to an earlier Times of India report, Vijay Sethupathi will play a travel photographer. Director Prem Kumar told the outlet, “Though he is not sporting any new look for the photographer role, he has a major change in his look in the latter portions of the film. He will go for a makeover after completing the first schedule.”
